CLA reports value of trade between licensees at US$1.34 million

The Cannabis Licensing Authority (CLA) is reporting that the trade between licensees was valued at US$1.34 million (over J$200 million) from May 2019 to July 2020. Speaking at a Jamaica Information Service (JIS) ‘Think Tank’, today (August 27), Director of Research, Development and Communications at the CLA, Felicia Bailey, explained that the value of trade quoted only covers that among licensees and excludes trade at local retail herb houses. RADA to get more households to do backyard farming

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Rural Agricultural Development Authority (RADA), Peter Thompson, says come September, the agency will be rolling out a programme geared at getting more households into farming. “We’re on that drive now to assist householders that have adequate land space in their backyards.
